Club Deep features a 2000-gallon aquarium that you can dance on top of. There's so many clubs and bars here that it's easy to find a good deal on food and drinks. The music was great at Club Deep (hip hop with a sprinkle of reggaeton), so I stayed here awhile. Here I met a dude from Alexandria who got fed up with NoVa and headed to Miami...if I could take you all with me I'd do the same!

Ahhh...first day I actually laid out on the beach. There's so much to do here that it's hard to decide sometimes. Go to happy hour or take a nap? Go clubbing or go out for some fine dining? Or both? As you can see from these dilemmas, it's been a tough week for me. But seriously...I need another few weeks here to figure it all out.

Winter Haven...how appropriate...

Here's Winter Haven, where I'll be staying the next two nights...I already love it...great location, huge room, and I can see the ocean from my window. Yummy eats on the streets

The News Cafe is a popular restaurant on Ocean Drive. It's right on the main drag, where all the restaurants try to woo you in with their prettiest hostesses, oh... and an appetizing menu. Above is my caesar salad with a glass of "natural" apple juice...apparently natural apple juice is not clear. Just another lesson I've learned in this beautiful city.
